What inspired you to join Full Speed Performance, and what do you bring to the team?

The opportunity to work in a facility that gives athletes of all levels access to elite resources really appealed to me. I bring a genuine passion for helping people get back to doing what they love — quickly, but safely. My focus is on being systematic, clear and creative in how I support each athlete’s rehab journey.

Where did you study, and what qualifications or certifications do you hold?

I completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and am currently completing my Master of Sports & Exercise Physiotherapy.

What areas do you specialise in, and how do you help athletes reach their goals?

My focus is lower limb injuries, including soft tissue strains like hamstrings and calves, as well as post-operative rehab. I follow clear, criteria-based progression models so athletes always know what comes next and what they’re working toward. Rehab should feel structured but still flexible enough to suit the individual.

What’s your approach to rehab and injury prevention?

It starts with understanding the athlete and their goals. From there, I map out a logical, achievable path to return to their activity — and make sure the journey doesn’t just stop when the pain goes away. Long-term success means going beyond the rehab room and into sport-specific performance.

How do you use data and technology like VALD to guide your treatments?

VALD gives us a clear look at areas that need work, and lets us track progress with real numbers. No guesswork, no assumptions. It also keeps both the physio and athlete accountable to the plan, which is key for long-term outcomes.

What do you wish more athletes understood about performance or recovery?

Knowing why you’re doing something in rehab makes a huge difference. If you understand the reason behind every step, you’re far more likely to stay engaged, consistent and confident.

How do you stay up to date with the latest in physio and sports science?

Studying my Masters helps keep me close to current research and themes in sports physiotherapy. I also follow leading clinicians and regularly reflect on how new evidence can improve the way I work.

What’s your favourite part of working with athletes?

Seeing their hard work in rehab turn into performance. When someone returns to their sport feeling better than before — more powerful, confident and resilient — that’s the win.

What makes Full Speed Performance different from other clinics or gyms?

The collaboration. We work as one team, not in silos. That connection between physios, coaches and athletes makes the rehab experience more complete. We also celebrate every win, big or small, because those moments matter.

What do you do outside of work?

You’ll usually find me at the footy, playing cricket, or down at the beach. I’m a summer person through and through — always chasing warmth and sunshine.
