What inspired you to join Full Speed Performance, and what do you bring to the team?

I’ve worked with athletes in gyms and clinical settings for years, and I know how powerful nutrition can be during rehab, performance blocks and competition prep. Being part of a team like Full Speed Performance lets me work alongside physios and coaches to support the whole athlete — not just their training.

Where did you study, and what qualifications do you hold?

I hold a Master of Dietetics and a Bachelor of Food and Nutrition Science (with Distinction) from Deakin University, with a major in Exercise Science.

What areas do you specialise in, and how do you help athletes reach their goals?

My background combines public health, private practice and sports nutrition. I’ve worked with clinical populations at Barwon Health and performance clients through Studio Kinetic and Nutrition Al, my online consultancy. I help athletes fuel properly, recover faster and feel confident in their approach to eating — whether that’s for rehab, energy availability, or performance gains.

What’s your approach to nutrition in a high-performance setting?

It’s about matching fuelling to the athlete’s needs — physically, mentally and practically. I always start with what they’re already doing, and work from there. My approach is non-restrictive, education-first, and designed to create long-term habits — not quick fixes.

How do you use data to support your plans?

I use tracking tools where appropriate, but I’m just as focused on how athletes feel, how they’re recovering and whether their plans are sustainable. Nutrition isn’t just macros — it’s mindset, availability, and consistency.

What do you wish more athletes understood about nutrition?

That under-fuelling is one of the most common barriers to recovery and performance. You can be training perfectly, but if your body doesn’t have what it needs to rebuild, you’ll hit a wall. Fuel is not a luxury — it’s the foundation.

How do you stay up to date with sports nutrition and clinical practice?

I stay active across clinical networks, and I continue learning through peer-reviewed research, webinars, and industry events. Every athlete is different — so I make it a point to keep adapting and improving.

What’s your favourite part of working with athletes?

Helping them feel good about how they’re fuelling. There’s a huge shift in confidence that happens when someone stops second-guessing every meal and starts seeing food as a tool for performance.

What makes Full Speed Performance different?

The collaboration. We all work as one unit — which means our athletes don’t just get advice in isolation. Nutrition here supports physio. Strength here supports recovery. That’s where the big gains come from.

What do you do outside of work?

I love trying new recipes, reading a good book, and heading out for a coffee walk when I get the chance.
